What's new with you? Nothing much here...
I'm just writing you a note start your day off good!! It has been colder and colder here which is very usual for Kumamoto. It's turned quiet cold, hasn't it? Usually our winter season ends around late February or early March. But I already tired of the cold and I also had a cold a few weeks ago. I just say, freezing! This is such a chilly whether now and days! Is it usually this cold at this time of the year!?!? Well, keep yourself warm, please and do not give a cold to me...huh!

Happy Birthday!

It is a birthday of my friend, Mariko today.
If I remember correctly, Mariko has a birthday coming up on November 26th so, Happy birthday to her!! Also, it's her big #20 which make her a legal adult in Japan! Congratulations!
I have sent her a mail, but I am not sure it was get there on time. But I am happy to hear that she is glad with my letter.
Anyway, I had a lunch with Mariko today's break time and we taked anything we like then. Then she looks very happy with her birthday and she told me that her mother will come to her afternoon. It's very nice of her, I though.

So Hot

I went eat out the lunch with grandfather today. We went a Korean food resturant and then we had very spicy food. This is dish called "Bibinpa", it was first time to eat it for me. I have never eat Korean food before, and I just had Kimuchi some time. Anyway, that bibinnpa was delicious but very hot too. The chef, he is from Korea and he cooked very well, I thought.
However, I do not like spicy food so much, it is just okay for me. I can eat spicy food but I really don't want have these kind of food anymore. I don't like too much spicy food. However Korean food which I tried, it was very hot and it's spicy and good. I liked it very much, I don't know why but I did! I could eat very spicy food! It was appetizing for me.
So, I would like to go there again sometime. Totally I really enjoyed the today's lunch.

The Movie

I love spending quiet at home cuddling up in front of the TV watching a good movie. I borrowed some movie before the above for one week, so I already must return them to the shop. However, I forgot about borrowed movies but I watch no movie yet. I know I am in arrears with the rental movies, so I should return it as soon as possible. I hope I will have chance to watch them this weekend and return back to the shop soon.

Some movie which I borrowed, they are so funny movies. They are RV, She's The Man and so on. Have you ever see that before!? Perhaps, I could recommend RV, this story is outrageous, lively, funny and wonderful. Anyway, I love funny movies especially and I also dislike Japanese or Asia kinds. Because Japanese movies are too boring for me, so I am used to American movies and how exciting they are!!
What kind of movie do you like? and do you have recommend? If you do then, tell it to me!
Not much else new for now. Well, I'd better go for now.

Memories

It is hot indeed today! It has been hotter and hotter here, which is very unusual for Kumamoto. Usually our hot season ends around late September or early October, then it's hot and sunny until late October. Our yards are usually brown at this time of year, but this year it is still bit of green. I'm tired of the hot.

My friend of hers from college and I are going to visit my ex-host family for a few week at the end of the month after next. I wish we could stay longer but we had a very good time there before. My ex- host family, they've been a wonderful family. I still remember, studying was very hard, but I enjoyed staying at their house very much.

I was going to be homesick for Texas. And I miss host mother's homemade cookie. I just say, thank them for everything and their kindness. Please come to see me in Japan if they have a chance. My parent's would love to have them stay with us.

Well, we are very happy that we will be visiting them again. Perhaps we will be able to visit them again some time. Now I have decided to study English harder so that I'll be able to speak better when I see you them next. I wish I could speak English better. I hope to see them again sometime.

Halloween "Treak or treat"

I went shopping to gift shop with my mom. Then I bought Halloween ornaments, so I'm going to decorate them a room. I remember that what did I do for Halloween when I was in America. Then I was going trick-or-treating that night with host sister and her boyfriend. But of course, I cannot going trick-or-treat night here in Japan. But if our culture has Halloween event and people has planning something special on Halloween, but I am not going, because....I'm too old for that now and we don't have these event, so nothing to special here.

In old times, then I was teenager, so I had join the event there, but now what will I do for Halloween in here Japan?! Perhaps, I may go to a costume party at my favorite bar. That sounds fun, isn't it?! huh! So, why don't you come with me!?

American Insults

Now, I'm going to write about some American insults little bit which I knew that. So, I'm going to try to explain them on my own.
Here are:
yo' mama=your mother or, your mom!
This can be used as an insult, like: Your mom smells bad! or just, "Your mom!" If someone says this to you, you can say, "What about her?" This is not offensive.

ass=buttocks
asshole=anus
In America(and other places in the world) the anus is very "dirty". Calling someone this is not very bad. "You ass!" or "Don't be an asshole!"

bitch=female dog
Usually, girls will say this to other girls when the girl acts mean. It is not very mean in America. "You're a bitch!" or "Don't be bitchy"

fuck=very rude word for sex
This word is very offensive! However, you will hear it a lot. Try to ignore it, kids don't mean it. "You fucker!" or, "Fuck" or, "I'm fucked".

shit=feces
This is pretty bad, but "fuck" is worse. Again, the anus is dirty because of the feces! "Shit head!" or, "Aw, shit" or, "Shitty!"
faggot/dyke=gay/lesbian
I think you know why this is insulting.

bastard=someone without a father
It means that your dad was not a good person and left your mother when she was pregnant. Not insulting. "You bastard!"

American child are taught a rhyme when they are small to help them feel better when someone calls them a mean name:
Stick and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me!

About summer

I am in writing class right now. So, today I 'm gonna tell about my summer vacation little bit. Totally, I really enjoyed summer myself, had a good time while I was away. Because I am found of traveling. I had some travels in summer, they were a two or three days' trip but that was so great. I had a good time with my friend and also I made lots of good friends in this summer!

My friend and I went on our trip to Okinawa, then we went to sea, and I had to go to Tokyo two weeks ago and Hyougo last week. I was very tired! My friend and I just got back from Tokyo two days ago, and she was very tired, too. At least last weekend was still our summer vacation, so we had a chance to rest a little. Our some trip was wonderful! The weather was much cooler than Kumamoto, but not too cold. The Okinawa scenery was beautiful.

Next vacation, I will go on my trip to TX, U.S.A. with my older friend. I am very exciting for it! In fact, also I want to go to Korea with my childhood friend someday. And more...In winter, I really want to go to Hokaidou either. I like ski very much.

I like traveling, so I want try to go on my trip to somewhere each spring & summer vacation and then make a nice memories. Do you like traveling? Do you have any particular that you'd like to go? or Did you go somewhere in this summer? Where did you your travels take you this time? I don't know you went on your trip to somewhere but if you did then, tell me anything when you can!
