This book is what I read, history of Godzilla. It was bit of interested book for me. I will show you about it a little.

The first Godzilla film opened in Tokyo on this date, and the 20,000 ton lizard has been smashing up cities and towns ever since. Initially inspired by King Kong, Godzilla soon spawned several other motion pictures and a popular TV series. Its success in America prompted Japanese filmmakers to invent many more monsters and heroes, such as Goro, Gamera, and Ultraman.
